Warehouse Supervisor

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by r.Cup to recruit for a warehouse supervisor in their Los Angeles location.

We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, dependable, and hands-on Supervisor to assist in successfully executing the reuse program within the Los Angeles area. This role will report to the Operations Director and will be responsible for active supervision of washing, delivery, and collection of cups. Major Responsibilities Include but NOT limited to:

• Work closely with the Operations Director to execute daily work plans and provide supervision of wash
• Technicians that ensure a steady supply of clean cups.
• Represent the Company in a professional manner when client interactions are required.
• Lead improvement initiatives and other projects assigned by Operations Director.
• Develop and provide process expertise throughout the wash cycle, including cup sorting, washing, buffing, inspections, packing cases, and order fulfillment.
• Perform order deliveries and cup collections using company box truck; log time and miles, refuel and clean vehicle, inspect truck and report road incidents, and support loading/unloading of cups into the wash hub.
• Perform accurate cup inventory counts at customer venues and the wash hub.
• Work closely with local Sales to set up new venue locations, including staff training, bin delivery and placement, container stocking, and signage production/placement.
• Maintain all machines and equipment in working order and report any concerns to the Operations Director.
• Ensure all supplies to wash appropriately are on hand and in full supply
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized wash hub.
• Understand you may be asked to take on other responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated individual with 3+ years of operations supervision experience in the following industries; manufacturing, production lines, warehousing, distribution, inventory management, and/or QA.
• Demonstrated ability to positively motivate while holding accountable warehouse staff.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in this role, with tenacity for “getting the job done”, able to wear many hats and be flexible on a day to day basis
• Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Experience operating a box truck with a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes.
• Experience operating a pallet jack.
• Demonstrated success in managing and delivering assigned projects.
• Comprehensive critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or frequently changing conditions
