Job Type:Independent Contractor/Full-time during season, and off season in Puerto Rico
Salary Range: $70,000 ($35/hours) plus bonus
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the companys fleet of This includes managing a small team of maintenance technicians, coordinating with crew and suppliers, and ensuring that all yachts are in excellent condition and ready for use for
Key Responsibilities:
Technical maintenance of yachts, including specialty services such as engines, generators, air conditioners, rigging, water maters and other ad hoc yacht
Manage a small team of maintenance technicians, including assigning tasks, setting goals and objectives, and providing ongoing training and support, signing off on work
Coordinate with maintenance support staff for scheduling, parts ordering, job information capturing and maintenance technician
Ensure that all yachts are in excellent condition and ready for use for
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including tracking costs and identifying areas for cost
On the job training of junior maintenance
Coordination with other Maintenance
Monitor of owner maintenance communication groups with crew and
Coordination of all receipts for parts purchased and working with accounting department to invoice yachts

Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Strong Leadership skills
Formal maintenance qualification or training preferred (this could include marine or other maintenance training)
5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, with at least 1 years in a management role
Strong knowledge of yacht systems and components, including engines, electrical systems, and plumbing (preferred but not required)
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Experience working in the US Virgin Islands and knowledge of local regulations is a
