The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is a newly created commercial finance role which will provide leadership, insight, and operational financial support to the business to drive revenue and margin growth for the group globally. This role will be embedded across the organization and will be pivotal in driving the necessary financial and operational excellence to ensure the organization achieves its commercial and financial potential quickly.
This is a hybrid position based in our facility in Harmar.
What you will do:
- Work with the business to produce robust financial forecasts (P&L and cash over various periods) and annual / project budgets that support group strategic requirements in line with the Group timetable.
- Create flexible scenario based financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities including pricing and return on investment.
- Provide clear direction and insight into the budgeting and planning process ensuring the accurate and timely provision of information to support business decision making.
- Ensure NEP Group has a strong focus on costs by comprehensively reviewing and challenging the relevant departmental heads throughout the budget and forecast process.
- Build close business partnering relationships with management across all departments in NEP Group. Work closely with the business to identify areas for business process improvement to drive efficiency.
- Ensure the Commercial Finance team are positioned as the go-to point for the commercial assessment of all business and investment proposals.

Requirements
- Experience within a fast paced, blue chip company environment with a track record for commercial business partnering and driving effective financial and operational change.
- Previous exposure to IFRS/US GAAP
- Well developed business partnering skills with a proven track record of driving significant business improvement and positive change initiatives.
- Instinctive commercial acumen with excellent analytical and technical ability coupled with strong problem-solving & decision-making skills.
- Innovative, can find new solutions to issues. Ability to think laterally
- Demonstrates the ability to identify the optimum route for the business with both company, customer, and employee in mind
