Reports To: Permit Coordinator / Safety Officer / Site In-charge
Job Summary The Permit Receiver is responsible for safely obtaining understanding and executing work under various work permits such as Hot Work Cold Work Height Work Confined Space Entry Electrical Isolation and Excavation permits. The role ensures that all activities comply with site safety standards procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities -
Receive review and understand work permits from the Permit Issuer before starting any job.

Ensure the worksite is inspected and meets all safety requirements.

Verify LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) is properly applied wherever necessary.
-
Communicate job hazards and control measures to the work crew.
-
Ensure all PPE tools and equipment are safe and compliant.
-
Coordinate with supervisors safety officers and other stakeholders for safe job execution.
-
Continuously monitor the work site for unsafe conditions and report hazards immediately.
-
Ensure all safety precautions and permit conditions are strictly followed.
-
Maintain housekeeping and safe access during the work.
-
Close the permit after work completion and ensure proper handover.
-
Maintain documentation and records related to work permits.
Skills & Competencies -
Strong understanding of site safety rules and permit-to-work systems.

Knowledge of Hot Work Confined Space Electrical and Height Work safety procedures.
-
Good communication and coordination skills.
-
Ability to identify hazards and apply safety controls.
-
Basic understanding of LOTO procedures.
-
Ability to read risk assessments and method statements.
Qualifications -
Diploma / Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation) or relevant field.

Minimum 1 3 years of experience in industrial construction EPC or manufacturing sites.

Valid safety training certificates (preferred):
