Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the design review and management of Baggage Handling Systems from inception to commissioning.
Review the design and supervision of HVAC Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems ensuring alignment with international and local codes and project requirements.
Review and evaluate mechanical calculations for HVAC FLS and Plumbing disciplines.
Conduct project design reviews of MEP systems from the concept design phase through construction and tender phases.
Review and approve material submittals ensuring they align with project specifications and adhere to delivery timelines.
Supervise mechanical construction activities monitoring the progress and quality of work.
Reviewing contractors and consultants prequalification requirements as well as suppliers performance for Mechanical related items.
Reviewing the contractors communication pertaining to topics such as change orders agreed-upon variation values timeline extensions and claims and offering essential counsel to the project manager concerning these matters.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in mechanical engineering.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role preferably in airport development projects.
Substantial experience in the design and supervision of HVAC Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
