Requirements
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented JavaScript/Frontend Developer to join our team with a primary focus on supporting and enhancing our Smart TV application. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the current app providing technical support and leading its revamp to improve performance and user experience. You will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of our Smart TV product using modern JavaScript best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for our existing Smart TV application ensuring reliability and high performance.
- Analyze debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and contribute to the design and planning of new features and improvements.
- Lead and participate in the applications revamp applying the latest JavaScript and frontend technologies.
- Optimize the app for various Smart TV platforms (Tizen webOS Android TV).
- Write clean maintainable and well-documented code.
- Stay updated with industry trends Smart TV platform updates and advancements in JavaScript frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or any other related field.
- Solid experience developing frontend applications using JavaScript (ES6) HTML5 and CSS3.
- 3 years of proven experience.
- Understanding of Smart TV environments such as Samsung Tizen LG webOS Android TV or similar is a plus.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with Smart TV application development.
- Experience with media streaming technologies (HLS mainly).
- Knowledge of frontend build tools and automated testing frameworks.
