A Day in the Life
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Control Analyst to join our Business Support team. This role focuses on reviewing employee expense reports submitted via Concur identifying policy violations potential misuse and irregularities and ensuring alignment with internal travel and expense (T&E) policies. The analyst will work closely with both Global Compliance and regional Finance teams across the EurAsia region helping to foster a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Review employee expense reports in Concur to ensure compliance with internal T&E policies flag irregularities violations or potential abuse.
- Identify and escalate recurring issues or trends to Global Compliance and regional Finance teams.
- Collaborate with regional Finance and Global Compliance to align on policies share insights and recommend corrective actions.
- Produce concise data-driven reports on findings trends and areas of concern for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of expense reviews investigations and outcomes.
- Support improvements in expense control processes and identify gaps in policy enforcement or system usage.
- Assist with compliance reviews audits and ad hoc projects related to T&E activity in the EurAsia region.
- Serve as a point of contact for T&E compliance questions within the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in financial controls compliance internal audit or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify patterns or inconsistencies in data.
- Effective communication skills to present findings clearly and collaborate across departments and regions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is required.
- Familiarity with regional business practices and regulatory requirements in the EurAsia region is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of data analysis or visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) is a plus.
- Experience working in a multinational or regional compliance environment.
- Additional language skills relevant to the EurAsia region are advantageous.
