The position

As a Procurement Professional you will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. You will play a key role in securing the best value for Novo Nordisk while supporting the affiliates operational needs and ensuring supplier performance meets business expectations.

In this role you will be expected to:

• Align sourcing needs with business objectives and ensure procurement compliance with local regulations and Novo Nordisk policies.
• Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable contracts while monitoring market trends and supplier risks.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships including performance assessments and preferred supplier list management.
• Support cross-functional teams in procurement planning budgeting and execution of operational and project-related tasks.
• Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) conduct risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies to ensure procurement efficiency.

Qualifications

Were looking for someone who is passionate about procurement eager to collaborate across functions and values supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will be proactive detail-oriented and able to navigate both local and global procurement practices.

• A Bachelors degree in Finance or a Masters in Finance Management.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement negotiation or finance.
• Strong knowledge of spend analysis contracts and supplier performance evaluation.
• Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and supplier risk identification.
• Familiarity with budgeting invoicing and procurement software is an advantage.

About the Department

You will be part of the Finance & Operations team at Novo Nordisk Algeria working closely with local and regional stakeholders including Global Procurement. The team plays a pivotal role in enabling business continuity through strategic procurement financial discipline and operational excellence.
