Compliance Officer

Main Duties:

• Monitor and assess the companys compliance with regulatory obligations
• Implement the compliance plan identify and investigate compliance risks
• Advise management and staff on emerging compliance trends
• Deliver training to staff
• Conduct regular compliance audits and preparation of compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies
• Liaise with external regulators and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings and maintaining detailed records of compliance activities

What skills do you need

• MQF Level 6 (Bachelors) academic qualification/s in Compliance Financial Services Regulations Law or relevant field of study to the role
• Adequate exposure and work experience in the Insurance Industry
• Have already undergone a successful PQ application and acceptance with the MFSA as a Compliance Officer would be considered an asset
• A good understanding of insurance legislation and regulatory requirements
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
