Position: Assistant Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Controller to join our esteemed client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. In this role you will work closely with the Controller and other members of the finance team to oversee the companys financial operations and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller in managing the daytoday accounting operations of the company
• Prepare and analyze financial statements budgets and other financial reports
• Ensure timely and accurate monthend and yearend close processes
• Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Train and mentor junior members of the finance team
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurately recorded and reported
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• CPA certification is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
