OUR STORY It all started with an idea and a vision of two Egyptian investment firms for contributing to a sustainable and healthy life through producing safe food ingredients. Both of our firms, THARAWAT INVESTMENTS and SKY INVESTMENTS had a dream to contribute to a healthier life in Egypt and to the food safety national initiatives. Joining forces and competencies, we found an opportunity in creating a natural and healthy food ingredient as a different format for shell eggs. With an investment of over a 120 million Egyptian pounds, we partnered with SANOVO TECHNOLOGY GROUP, the leading company in egg handling and processing equipment worldwide, to design, engineer, deliver and commission a fully automated state of the art egg processing facility. In 2019, we established OVO Egypt with a production capacity of 20 thousand tons per year. We utilized the latest technology in processing shell eggs into pasteurized, liquid or frozen products for industrial applications and exports. We produce customized products for specific usages with a long shelf-life, high hygiene levels, and great storage convenience catering for food manufacturers, bakeries, hotels and restaurants
