Chief Veterinarian (Relocation to Saudi Arabia)
Our client is a well-established pet store & vet clinic, and is currently looking for an energetic individual to join their team in Saudi Arabia. The clinic is located in 4 different facility areas where you will mainly be at facility area Dharan and the other three are located in Abqaiq, Ras, Tanura as well as Udhailiyah.

Requirements
Veterinary science degree holder from a recognized University of Veterinary Science in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
Current valid license to practice veterinary medicine in their country of origin, as specified above
Current valid license, or eligibility to obtain a valid license, to practice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Minimum of 5 years experience in general veterinary disciplines, both surgical and medical
Documented postgraduate or Continuing Education Credits
Experience in equine medicine and surgery is a must
Extensive experience in small animal (Pets) veterinary medicine and surgery is required
Fluency in oral and written English
Current inoculations for both tetanus and rabies

Key responsibilities:
Provides clinical and surgical veterinary services as detailed for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Perform these services in conjunction with other veterinarians according to established roster and emergency on-call rotation.
Carries out and amends established procedures for professional veterinary services concerned with animal treatment, vaccination and record maintenance.
Maintains standards of proper professional veterinary practice.
Provides consultation and advice for other veterinarians. Shall be responsible for the effectiveness of all veterinarian services provided.
Proposes recommendations for innovations in equipment, materials and techniques within the clinic.
Participates in and contributes to a quality assurance program.
Provides effective communication with community organizations that require information and assistance on matters of animal control or health.
Oversees boarding and grooming services through the function of the Boarding Coordinator.
Maintains continuing education program for professional staff.
Provides training for clinical staff.
