The Warehouse Manager is an important member of the team which includes warehousing operations and
compliance with safety requirements. The warehouse manager determines inventory levels and
control, shipping & receiving, and overall day to day warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
⢠Responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and improving warehousing, fulfillment operations, and
logistics
⢠Works cross-functionally among engineering, supply chain, purchasing, warehousing, logistics partners
and contract manufactures
⢠Optimizes domestic and international shipping processes
⢠Collaborates with other teams to implement effective systems.
⢠Identify risks, issues, and make recommendations to management
⢠Coordinates with finance, engineering, and sales teams to effectively manage inventory
⢠Provides recommendations for improvement on all warehouse and fulfillment processes
⢠Understands and implements all compliance related Import / Export regulations
⢠Must have strong communication skills, both verbally and written
⢠Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
⢠Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
⢠Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
⢠Communicate and coordinate shipping & logistics requirements with customers to ensure product arrives
according to customer requirements
⢠Trained in the safe usage of basic warehouse equipment such as forklifts
Requirements
Qualifications:
⢠Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience dedicated to warehouse, distribution & logistics
⢠A minimum of 2 yearsâ experience with ERP systems required, preferably NetSuite
⢠Excellent written, oral communication, and organization skills, and must be a team player
⢠Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
⢠Experience in moving and/or reorganizing warehouses
⢠Implementing new warehouse management technologies and systems, including bar code and lot
management
⢠Strong understanding of supply chain processes and financial data analysis
⢠Knowledge of international commerce terms and tariff codes preferred
⢠Ability to work with multiple logistics, shippers, vendors, and suppliers
⢠Strong working knowledge of computerized inventory control systems, inventory control methods and
procedures, and freight manifest systems
⢠Hands-on experience shipping products via common freight carriers
⢠Hands-on experience receiving materials against purchase orders
⢠Self-motivation and ability to manage competing priorities; must be able to multitask and get things done
in a fast-paced while under pressure and changing environment
⢠Creative thinking and strong problem-solving skills
⢠Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift Certification
