(Top Consumer Products) Procurement Lead

Our client designs, packages and markets over 92,000 different products manufactured, sold primarily in the United States through automotive aftermarket retailers, national, regional and local warehouse distributors, specialty markets and salvage yards.Our client expand the business from one facility to 4 locations in United States that are basically pack and ship operations with sales over $1 billion.

They have built a business, providing newautomotive aftermarket products, manufactured in bulk by vendors and subcontractors in Asia primarily China. They do re-packaging and shipping to customers in modern retail stores. They are also branching out into other household products such as electrical outlets or storage systems. Originally most of the products were sold just in the USA but they have grown not only throughout North America but South America and Europe. In total, our client has over 1200 employees worldwide.

This role enabling you to join the global manufacturer focused on new product development and constantly leading competitors in electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical technology especially addressing Electric Vehicle market.

Responsibilities:

• Do the data analysis
  

• Finding new suppliers, expanding the possibility to grow the businesses
  

• Managing RFQ s and onboarding new suppliers
  

• Build the specification packages
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in procurement
  

• Experience handling the supplier quotes
  

• Fully experienced at SAP proficiency or eager to learn
  

• Willing to work with diverse cultures in multinational countries
  

• Product Engineering or Quality experience would be preferred
