Role: Solutions Architect III

Location: Hybrid from Chicago, IL- Locals are strongly preferred- (Once a week in the office to start with)

Must have Skills:

3-4 years of experience in cloud.

6 years of experience as a Solution Architect i.e., Application Architect.

AWS certification would be a plus.

Experience in Cloud (EKS, Dynamo DB) and AWS cloud experience.

Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure.

Experience in the Application architecture (Micro Services), Rest APIs.

.Net Core (back end) and Angular (front end).
Hands on experience with .Net Core is a must and knowledge of Angular/React is good to have.

Description:

Act as a liaison between business and technology.

Oversee the systems solution and ensures that the solution aligns with business goals and processes.

Responsible for the design, implementation, security, and performance of the software.

Lead in designing, specifying and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.

Focuses on establishing the best technology solution to meet a specific business need in their area of expertise.

Formulate a design plan that factors technology investments and risks while providing value to the company by improving business processes and eliminating unnecessary complexities.

Plans the technical requirements to transition a design into a working solution.

Ensure that the design is installed, configured and documented correctly.

Assists in recognizing and mitigating any risks to existing business processes or to the solution's overall success.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.

Able to work with multiple computing platforms.

Experience managing a project from start to finish.

Required Skills:
Strong understanding and demonstrated usage of object-oriented design concepts
Strong coding background and on time delivery of quality components
Experience with the following technologies: AngularJS, NoSQL databases, .NET, Git, RESTful API's
Experience with AWS or other cloud architectures
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience working both independently and, in a team,-oriented, collaborative environment.
The ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and management
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred Skills:
Experience with the following technologies: .Net, AWS, TFS, Team City, Docker, Kubernetes, DataDog, Elastic search, Kibana
Experience with TDD and continuous delivery
Experience participating or leading user experience research and design sessions
Proven track record of partnering well with the business and ability to suggest technical solutions to business problems
