The Role:
The Program Manager will work closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs and other cross-functional partners to ensure access is a planned and integral part of development and commercialization across the productâs lifecycle, from the earliest points of a moleculeâs life-cycle and beyond launch.
A key element of this work includes developing and maintaining strong and meaningful relationships with access stakeholders (e.g., payers, government bodies, etc.) and pharmaceutical partners. In order to support this effort, you will clearly communicate the utility and economic value of our products and identify collaboration opportunities across the partner network.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and manage relationships with payers, government bodies, and pharmaceutical partners
Support payer contracting and health technology assessment (HTA) activities including coding and reimbursement
Develop and manage value communication tools such as evidence dossiers and payer presentations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop value propositions, evidence strategies, and value communication tools to support medical teams and access
Develop, maintain, and apply an in-depth understanding of relevant oncology indication landscapes and emerging issues (e.g., clinical guidelines, payer policies, emerging evidence, etc.)
Proactively collaborate with various functions within and outside of Medical Affairs and Clinical Affairs to ensure alignment of activities with key partners and stakeholders
Attend customer and other external meetings to advance learning, build relationships and demonstrate pharmaceutical partnerâs value
Requirements
3+ years of Market Access experience, one of which is part of a payer organization or pharmaceutical/diagnostics manufacturer
Strong knowledge of genomics and its application in oncology
Ability to interpret and present complex clinical and health economic data to a wide audience
Experience managing value communication tools (e.g., evidence dossiers, payer presentations, etc.)
Knowledge of US and EU healthcare landscape, health policy, and healthcare system stakeholders (e.g., public sector payers, commercial payers, etc.)
Knowledge of drug development, medical affairs, and post-marketing planning relevant to pharmaceutical/biotechnology organizations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects involving complex processes, challenging deadlines, and rapidly shifting priorities
Skilled in functioning within a matrix organization where leading through influence is required
Demonstrated record of being resourceful in finding ways to achieve objectives
Business travel by air or car
Preferred:
Specific Market Access and HEOR experience with molecular diagnostics
Knowledge of diagnostic development, commercialization, and payer environment, both US and globally, including coverage and reimbursement, value drivers, HTA, and health policy
