Hematologist-OncologistCompensation and Schedule

- Hourly rate:$300 per hour / $12,000 per week at 40 hours

- Overtime/Holiday rate: $405 per hour

- $1,600 for 24hr weekend call to include 2 hours rounding

- Call back $300 per hour

- Benefits package available if needed

-Housing plus travel covered

-Mon through Friday coverage 8am - 5pm for referrals in the clinic and hospitalconsults

-Weekend coverage for calls/consults

Hematologist-OncologistDepartment Description

-This need is due to growth and expansion of the Oncology service line

-New outpatient Oncology facility with one current MD, need help on weekends

-Would rotate weekend call/rounding with the 1 current provider (Friday 5p-Monday 7a)

-Weekend call coverage covering two hospitals and rounding Sat/Sun if there are patients

-If no patients on the weekend, phone call coverage only

-Low volume. Daily Census: 5-10 patients a day. Adult population

- Procedures: Infusion, Transfusion, Bone Marrow Biopsy

- EMR: Epic

- Ability to work with patients to explain a diagnosis and stage of cancer, discuss treatment options, and manage side effects and symptoms of cancer and treatment

- Coordinate treatment plans and prescribe various types of treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy

- Assists patients with pain management

- Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks, i.e. documentation in EHR

Hematologist-OncologistRequirements

-Active South Carolina medical license or willing to obtain

- Board certified and MDs only

-2+ years experience

- **MUST HAVE BOTH FLU AND COVID VACCINATIONS**

- Must have worked in specialty within the last 90 days
