Job Description
- Assist Engineers in daily production support for manufacturing optimization.
- Assist in the development of layouts or floorplans, and documents procedures with the goal or improving operations
- Perform measurements and collect data for engineering experiments and production builds.
- Perform failure analysis on nonconforming materials and test & troubleshoot the product.
- Support Manufacturing build for process, material, and qualification of engineering design changes.
- Support implementation of tools and fixtures.
- Support WI (Work Instruction) changes.
- Identify areas for manufacturing and product improvements.
- Support build plan for instruments and achieve satisfactory results on a daily basis.
- Be the go to person for escalation of production technical issues.
- Experienced in basic equipment such as Volt/Ohm meter, Calipers, Mechanical tools and Torque analyzer.
- Ability to understand CAD drawings and assemble parts, or ability to understand electrical schematics and perform soldering and wiring work.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Team player able to work across the organization to achieve goals.
- Other duties and tasks assigned by the engineer in charge.
