Job Description

• Assist Engineers in daily production support for manufacturing optimization.
  
• Assist in the development of layouts or floorplans, and documents procedures with the goal or improving operations
  
• Perform measurements and collect data for engineering experiments and production builds.
  
• Perform failure analysis on nonconforming materials and test & troubleshoot the product.
  
• Support Manufacturing build for process, material, and qualification of engineering design changes.
  
• Support implementation of tools and fixtures.
  
• Support WI (Work Instruction) changes.
  
• Identify areas for manufacturing and product improvements.
  
• Support build plan for instruments and achieve satisfactory results on a daily basis.
  
• Be the go to person for escalation of production technical issues.
  
• Experienced in basic equipment such as Volt/Ohm meter, Calipers, Mechanical tools and Torque analyzer.
  
• Ability to understand CAD drawings and assemble parts, or ability to understand electrical schematics and perform soldering and wiring work.
  
• Experienced in Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  
• Team player able to work across the organization to achieve goals.
  
• Other duties and tasks assigned by the engineer in charge.
