Electrical Design Engineer

• Perform the general duties of the design functions and work towards surpassing the section and team s targets set in the KPI.
  
• Ensure compliance to the company s quality and environmental policy through excellent work output, reduction of waste and prevention of pollution.
  

• Check and review technical aspect of project design
  
• Design, make, amend, update and issue drawings for elevator parts and installation drawings
  
• Make, amend, issue and upkeep design document (design information, delivery list, design standard, design change, etc.)
  
• Carry out project design review to ensure customer specifications are met
  
• Ensure that all safety aspects of design are reviewed and complied
  
• Compliance to schedule and deadline for projects and works assigned
  
• Computerization and documentation of design process
  
• Maintenance of computer programs
  
• Carry out design improvement activities
  
• Detail analysis of faults, trouble, defects and establish corrective and preventive action
  
• Actively monitor and follow-up of outstanding/pending issues completion
  
• Attend to enquiries from other departments or overseas agents
  
• Quotation for spare parts
  
• Educate Assistant Officer on various aspect of design
  
• Ad-hoc duties
