We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join our enthusiastic team. You will be responsible for working on all stages of our production cycles, from R&D, prototyping to manufacturing, installation and evaluation.

- Superior computer skills and proficiency with 3D modeling software preferably SolidWorks.
- Design products using CAD, develop drawings with GD&T and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation including manuals for machine operators.
- Perform Hand calculations and Design studies whenever necessary.
- Able to discuss and meet the requirements of Cross Functional teams.
- Capable of working with the CAE analysis team for requirement studies.
- Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function.
- Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs to ensure compliance with safety, performance and efficiency standards.
- Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance as and when required.
- Calculate cost estimates for final product designs, and release reports to supervisors, incorporating costs of labor, material, delivery and overheads. Attend weekly team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleaguesâ progress, strategize on steps for the following week and acquire information about Design products using CAD, develop drawings with GD&T and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible.
- Ability to understand new product lines and work with cross functional teams.
- Ability to run simulations and analyze test data/prototypes.
- Experience in budgeting projects.
- Should have analytical and problem solving skills.
- Recommend productivity and best practices for machine operators/technician especially for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance/preventive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering. Masterâs degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Over 5 yearsâ experience.
- Self-motivated and ability to use initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attentive to details.
- The ability to stay abreast of advancements in technology and engineering design trends
