What you'll do...

• Be a (hands-on) Software architect. You understand how the various systems and components connect and interact, where the risks are and what trade-offs entail.
• Be an Impact multiplier. Whether through processes you design, best practices you establish, code you write, learnings you share, organisational changes you influence or initiatives you lead, the outcomes of your work should move the entire organization forward in a significant way.
• Be part of the technical leadership team
• Be an escalation point for incidents and shape operational excellence
• Recommending new technologies that can help increase productivity.
• Investigating software-related complaints and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance.

Job Requirements

What we're looking for...

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale Java projects.
• Strong analytical and good communication skills.
• Extensive experience in defining and implementing technical roadmaps that influence multiple tech teams
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Proven experience building complex web systems.
• Years of professional hands-on experience as a senior or lead engineer
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience in triaging complex systems (Metrics, Logging Tracing)
• Experience in keeping senior stakeholders and the wider tech organization aligned
