Technical Writer

About the Job

• Work closely with our support teams and consult with other resources to obtain technical information. Analyze new and revised product designs.
• Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
• Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
• Work with support teams to write clear and precise technical requirements and specifications for internal and external projects.
• Write clear, concise installation instructions and product specifications for audiences of several skill levels.
• Research, outline, write and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
• Use desktop publishing software to produce and alter documents/drawings/images inconsistent formats that adhere to fundamental design principles.
• Meet project deadlines and balance multiple projects at once.
• Provide desktop publishing and graphics software training and technical support.
• Maintain warranties and other safety, maintenance, and installation reference documents as needed.

Job Requirements

• Fluent Arabic and English written and spoken
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• 1-3 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
• Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience working with engineering to improve the user experience: design and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
