Technical Mentor - Software Developer (Fluent in English)

Job Description

Basic attributes and experience :

• Hands-on, professional experience and understanding of developing, shipping, deploying and supporting Software products through the full lifecycle
• Coding, testing, algorithm development and debugging in a variety of languages
• An understanding of the entry-level technology market and the requirements of a junior software engineer
• Experienced in training, mentoring and supporting junior software engineers from a variety of multidisciplinary backgrounds in STEM subjects
• Experience of working in Agile teams using Scrum and/or Kanban;
• Strong communications skills - proven at both an individual, team level and when dealing with Line and Project Management
• An entrepreneurial mind who is passionate about developing others and is excited by the prospect of truly disrupting and innovating in the technology training and graduate recruitment industry

Job Requirements

Basic technical skills and qualifications :

• 2+ years experience in Software Engineering
• Experience working with Java, JavaScript, Spring boot,Frontend and Backend Frameworks (React, Angular etc.)
• >1 major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure…), CICD pipelines
• Knowledge of Wireframing, Test automation frameworks -
• Proven training or coaching experience
• Experience as scrum master or product owner in scrum

Preferred qualifications :

On top of this, it would be great if you were comfortable, but not necessarily an expert, working with some or all of the following :

• HTML, CSS, Spring, Data Structures & Algorithms
• Flask; Express; HTML and CSS; SQL; NoSQL; ORM; ODM; OOP; Git; XP;
