Software Engineer (Ruby On Rails)

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Design robust, scalable and secure features
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards)
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in related fields
• +5 years building web based applications
• +3 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails as well as libraries like Sidekiq and RSpec
• +3 years of experience working with relational databases like (mySQL)
• Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and React.js (optional)
• Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git
• Familiar with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM
• Familiar with writing unit testing
