About the role:
A Social Media Specialist is responsible for overseeing the social media accounts for a business. Their duties include creating and updating social media posting schedules, replying to comments from subscribers or liking tagged photos and coordinating with other professionals to determine how to market a brand and its products or services using social media.

Education:
Bachelorâs degree in in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Experience:

4+ years of experience in social media marketing with a proven record of accomplishments

Excellent command of both English and Arabic
Â.
Agency experience is a plus
Â.
Ability to present documented experience in social media (provide links of your work)
Â.
Proficiency in content marketing, theory, and application
Â.
An in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, etc.), their respective participants, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

Hands-on experience in social media engagement and monitoring tools.
