Senior HVAC Design Engineer

Job Description

• Preparing all tender documents (design drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications
• Computer-aided design using AUTO CAD & REVIT software and tools related to HVAC discipline.
• HVAC design, HVAC load calculations (HAP), ventilation calculations, duct layout, piping layout and equipment selection
• Attend meetings
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Develop Life Cycle Cost Analysis during conceptual design to evaluate various HVAC systems
• Perform analysis and calculations for facility HVAC designs
• Perform studies for HVAC evaluations, findings, develop solutions
• Provide technical quality reviews and ensure adherence to Quality Control processes, Codes and Standards
• Coordinate work between multiple project disciplines

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering
• HVAC design Engineer 8-10 Years of experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of computer-aided design AUTO CAD & REVIT software and tools related to HVAC discipline.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel.
• Previous experience in KSA is a must
• CAP Projects experience is an advantage
• Previous experience in high reputed Consultant Engineering Companies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC design standards and codes, HVAC load calculations (HAP), ventilation calculations, duct layout, piping layout and equipment selection
• Comprehensive knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, Egyptian code & international standards of HVAC.
• Previous experience in preparing all tender documents (design drawings, shop drawings BOQ, and technical specifications).
• Previous experience in different type of projects (Hospitals, Hospitably, Commercial, Residential & Mixed Use).
• Very good English both spoken and written.
• Very good computer skills (Windows - Excel - Word- AutoCAD- Outlook – Internet).
• Has high communication skills.
