Senior Accountant

Job Description:

• Receive, process, and execute requests to ensure they are properly handled in a timely manner and in accordance to set business requirements
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Provide technical support and advice on management
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of English commerce or accounting
• Should have or studying IFRS, CMA or CPA
• Age should not exceed 30
• Retail experience is preferred
• Excellent top notch Accounting and analysis skills
• Experience with creating financial statements , general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
