Quality Control Engineer

Job Description

• Primarily testing of Product release; including the scripting of Test Automation
• Executes tests to discover functional defects and usability issues
• Analyzes and tracks complex defects and creates test reports
• Participates in customer interaction including but not limited to (product support, bug analysis, work around solutions)
• Translates user based stories and acceptance criteria into test automation and manual test cases
• Addresses cross-functional integration topics and collaborates across multiple teams and/or organizations
• Works within a team using agile development methodologies

Job Requirements

• Knowledge in Security & Performance is required.
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle of defects
• Advanced communication and language capabilities (written and verbal)
• Ability to handle various tasks concurrently and attention to detail
• Ability to define user stories and product requirements
• Knowledge of agile development processes including SCRUM is a plus
