QHSE Coordinator

Job Description

1. Manage training needs analysis.
2. Manage internal and external training for all stakeholders.
3. HSE gap assessments and closure follow-up.
4. Creation of emergency preparedness plan, callout procedures, and ERT.
5. Weekly and monthly firefighting inspection.
6. Fire alarm inspection and system management.
7. Organizing the safety committee and monthly meetings for all locations.
8. Managing and planning Emergency and evacuation drills.
9. Facilitating HSE risks assessment and ensures all processes are implemented.
10. Daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections for the site.
11. Managing third-party contractors (training and management).
12. Wellbeing program development and follow-up.
13. Reporting first aid, accidents, and investigations.
14. Bi-annual safety statistics creation and submission to the labor office.
15. Act as a focal point and liaison with the civil defense and follow up on gaps.
16. Act as a focal point and liaison with the Labour office and follow up on gaps.
17. HSE management of change program.
18. Manage HSE projects and budget.
19. Ensure Regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Job Requirements

1. Previous experience as a safety officer/engineer.
2. Experience in writing HSE reports and policies.
3. Working knowledge of HSE management systems.
4. Have a valid HSE Technician / Responsible certificate from the legal authorities.
5. Good communication skills to handle all stakeholders including governmental officials.
6. A certificate in occupational health and safety is an asset.
