Purchasing Assistant (Buyer)

Job Description

• Negotiate the purchase of materials and equipment required by the company, ensuring that these meet specifications and can be delivered at the correct time at the most favorable prices
• Monitor purchase orders to ensure that these are modified to meet
  changes in requirements
• Negotiating prices (so the store doesn’t get ripped off)
• Research, select and purchase quality products and materials
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing

Job Requirements

• Males & female
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
• Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Occasional domestic and/or international travel.
