Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Technical)

Job Description

• Oversees and/or coordinates maintenance/repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing manufacturing building maintenance.
• Responds to client inquires and complaints. Ensures timely and quality service delivery to clients.
• Follows up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Performs production facilities inspections and prepares reports.May coordinate and manage move, add and change activities.
• Assists in the preparation of operating and capital budgets.
• Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures.
• Uses PC and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS, process and procedure training.
• May coordinate and manage move, add and change activities.

Job Requirements

• Must have 3+ years in a supervisory role managing facility and maintenance operations.
• Extensive Freon Chillers, AHU, FCU, Pumps, and split units maintenance.
• Solid People management skills.
• Strong budget development experience to be considered.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.
• Experienced in overseeing a successful Preventative Maintenance program, training in specific aspects of facility maintenance operations, utilizing hands-on working knowledge for best overall safety, troubleshooting and mechanical systems protocols and adherence.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Ability to organize, oversee and fine-tune processes, while scheduling and developing efficient workflow at the site is necessary.
• Bilingual skills are a must (English/Arabic).
