Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

• Working with a cross-functional team of mechanical/electrical engineers to develop automotive plastic products (ex: interior switches, HMI panels, touchscreens, etc…)
• Involve in the CAD design of various automotive/locomotive products
• Realize design requirements (Mechatronic/Mechanical) such as NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), ratings, and safety.
• Identify the critical product characteristics to achieve optimum safety, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.

Job Requirements

• BS.c or Ms.c in Mechanical, Mechatronics or biomedical engineering.
• Experience with at leastoneCAD design toolis a must
• The former experience in product design/development is a plus.
• Good command of English (spoken and written)is a must.
• Finite Element Analysis skills are extra.
• having an understanding of the DFMEA and DFM/DFA concepts is a plus.
• having previous experience working with product lifecycle management platforms (ex. Enovia, Teamcenter) is a plus.
• Prior experience in product management is a plus.
• Previous experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and Tolerance stack-up analysis is a plus
