Information Technology Communications Engineer

About the Job

• Build, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware enhancements, application installation, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Diagnose/ Monitor and correct computer systems issues and performance issues provide hands-on system administration support, system maintenance, and operations support and networks.
• Perform software and hardware technical enhancements analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems & applying operating system updates, patches, logs, and configuration changes, and user access management.
• Support cloud computing, security, and IT projects.
• Respond and report to IT manager issues, violation of hardware maintenance, software, networking, policies security usage, etc.
• Design, install & troubleshoot the telecommunications systems.
• Work with the complex network & switching systems.
• Configure networks to ensure smooth transmission of data that fulfills the objective of the organization.
• Oversee new and existing telecom equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
• Evaluates technical issues related to computer, server, network, voice, and resolve it at the earliest.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• BSc degree Communications Engineer, minimum grade "Good".
• Excellent command of English.

Good Knowledge of:

• Operating systems ( Windows, Ubuntu, AIX).
• Mail Systems (Microsoft Exchange or IBM Domino).
• Backup system (TSM).
• SAN Storage.
• CCNA Certified.
• Virtualization operating technology.

General Terms

• Age shall not exceed 35 years old on applying.
• Completion of military and national services performance with a degree of morality not less than very good; being exempted or under demand for 3 years for males as well as General Services status.
