Host/Hostess responsibilities includegreeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.
Requirements
The restaurant is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both waiters and tables are ready in line with opening standards.
Maintaining impeccable uniform and personal presentation standards in accordance with our company policy
Inquiring if guests have a reservation and noting it in the reservation system, if they donât then create a reservation for them with their dining preferences and noting it in the reservation book
Being attentive to guest requests
Take telephone bookings and record it in the Reservation book according to restaurant standards
Maintain detailed knowledge of menu, including daily specials
Great communication skills
Ability to work in a team and in different functions
Warm and inviting personality
Ability to think calmly under pressure
Passion of food & beverage and curiosity for learning something new
