Credit Underwriter Manager

Job Description

1. Monitor daily transaction executed by team of regularevaluations of applications submitted by Loan Officers to identify potential risks of the borrower.
2. Coach and analyze the performance of team by monitoring the quality of decision-making and cross-function communication between team and other business units, in addition to approval of high-risk portfolio and alignment with other back-office functions on decision.
3. Responsible for redistribution of loan applications to ensure the highest processing speed of applications as per SLA’s and company’s target.
4. Provide approvals on the credit exposure within his/ her level of authority in accordance with company’s policies and governance.

6. Maintain visits to key customers to ensure the process control, studying of market standards.
7. Prepare performance reports related to applications approval / rejection rates, reasons for rejection, processing time of application, etc.

Job Requirements

• University Degree, Bachelor of Economic, Business Administration or commerce
• Min 7+ years of experience, preferable working in Retail Banking, SME’s Lending, and NBFI’s
• Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
• Experience in Credit lending is a must with min 4 years.
• Background in financial analysis with statistics is preferable.
• Knowledge of market and operational risks.
