Cost Estimator Senior Engineer

Job Description

Job Purpose:

• Identify the project's costs and monitor the commitment to such costs.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop the cost plans/estimates to be committed to;
• Review and approve contractors/consultants' invoices to ascertain their compliance with the scheme.
• Monitors the cash flows of the project and compares them with the target in the schedule to ensure compliance with the scheme.
• Monitors project progress, consumption rates of raw materials, costs, and orders to change orders and identify any potential risks to avoid them.
• Makes recommendations for any deviations from the planned budget to ensure compliance with the budget.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4-6 years of experience in relevant field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Commercially and financially aware.
• Highly developed analytical skills.
• Focus on results and organized with the capacity to plan and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Project management skills.
• Good knowledge of evaluation methods.
