Product Owner (f/m/x)

Our vision/goal

We are a young Berlin-based start-up developing an intelligent IoMT-based assistance system for care homes. Our goal is to optimize the quality of life of the residents and the quality of work of the caregivers.

To this end, we are currently working on an intelligent incontinence product that recognizes relevant events and shares them with the caregivers in real time. With the help of a mobile app we provide, caregivers are always informed and can decide on the next steps based on their needs. In addition to that and to be able to provide more services for our customers we are building an interoperable IoMT platform for care homes. Together with other partners, our goal is to provide a all-round service to make everyday work easier for caregivers and to put the focus back on the people who need care.

Tasks

As our Product Owner (f/m/x), you will be responsible for product conception and implementation for our platform and our incontinence management product. You will work closely with our CEO, marketing and technical leaders to make key product and go-to-market decisions. As one of the central positions in our company, you will contribute significantly to the strategic development of AssistMe GmbH.

Requirements

• Responsible for our IoMT product and platform
• Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market and competitive landscape, and create and define product strategy, milestones, product roadmaps, and release plans
• Refine the development process with the team, participate in planning to clarify expectations and answer questions, oversee development (along with the CTO)
• Monitor user performance indicators and KPIs
• Work closely with regulatory affairs team to ensure compliance with medical regulations (MDR, ISO 13485)

Your qualifications:

• More than 3 years of experience in a product role, Sincere interest in healthcare technologies
• Ability to lead, coach and inspire cross-functional teams, ensuring there are ongoing opportunities for learning and development
• Demonstrated ownership of a product in a previous role, including responsibility for taking a product from concept to launch and iterative improvement, creating product roadmaps, driving UX decisions, and leading technical implementation discussions
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and define efficient processes
• High level of independence, initiative and proactivity, and enthusiasm for achieving results
