Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our store/warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving storing issuing and maintaining inventory in an efficient and accurate manner. This role demands strong record-keeping skills a keen eye for detail and the ability to coordinate effectively with procurement production and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
Main Responsibilities
Receive inspect and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic and accessible manner.
Ensure proper storage conditions for different types of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock counts/reconciliation.
Issue materials to departments as per requisitions ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Monitor stock levels and inform the purchasing department of shortages or reorder requirements.
Label and tag all inventory items clearly for easy identification.
Maintain cleanliness safety and security of the store area.
Prepare and submit inventory reports goods received notes (GRNs) and issue vouchers.
Coordinate with logistics and suppliers for returns replacements or urgent requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies safety regulations and quality standards.
Essential Qualifications
High School Diploma / Bachelor s Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field.
Minimum of X years experience as a Storekeeper preferably in industry-specific operations.
Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software (ERP knowledge preferred).
Skills Required
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail with excellent record-keeping abilities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills to handle discrepancies or urgent demands.
Physical stamina to handle manual lifting and movement of stock when required.
